Happy Sunday!

We have had the busiest month and I’m so glad it’s almost over! Dan has been traveling and working a ton… sometimes we go with him and sometimes we don’t. Currently, we are heading home from San Diego. It was a short but sweet trip. Dan throws events for different Universities so while he does that, we go explore the city. But now that the month is ending… we will finally be home and I’m SO excited to enjoy this yummy fall season and welcome in the holidays! It’s seriously my favorite time of year. I hope you all are enjoying some cozy family time as well! It’s officially time to get those Halloween costumes ready and I just can’t handle my excitement haha!

Thanks for stopping by!

Aiden turns 1 Dino Style

CAKE + CUPCAKES: Sweet Tooth Fairy (@The District in South Jordan, UT) // CALLIGRAPHY+ SIGNS: Sarah Ward Calligraphy and here // POPSICLES: Lick’D Pops // PARTY DECOR: Hobby Lobby + Target // // PHOTOGRAPHY: Shelli Dame Photography// AIDEN’S B-DAY SHIRT: Ily Couture // MY DRESS: Neesees Dresses

Hello Friends,

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE DINO!! Aiden’s real birthday is in July but we travel a lot during the summer so we decided to have his first birthday party when we could have our family and friends around for it. So September it was haha!! Two months late but it was still a blast! We had some Sweet Tooth Fairy cake and cupcakes (which were AMAZING!) and all the words, writing, and signs were made by my dear friend Sarah Ward Calligraphy. I’m obsessed with how everything looked and turned out… seriously the cutest party! And to help with the heat, we had some delicious popsicles from Lick’D Pops… no joke, they are my absolute favorite treats ever now. If you guys haven’t tried them then you should… go get them at any Harmons. You’ll thank me later haha 🙂

Again, HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in pulling off the best first birthday for little A!! I seriously couldn’t have done it with out you all! AND Thank you to Shelli Dame Photography for not only taking pictures at the party but she also helped set up… talk about going above and beyond 🙂

HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!

xoxo,

Becca

Crock Pot Meals with a little Fashion

imageimageimageimageimage

DRESS: Target // BOOTIES: Target // HAT: H&M // CHOKER: Urban Outfitters // DIAPER BAG: Fawn Design // PHOTOGRAPHY: Peace Photo

Hello Friends,

I’m so sorry this took me FOREVER to post!! But, better late then never right? Here are some recipies from those crock pot meals I made earlier this summer. I pre-made these and froze them… they last for 6 months so even if you don’t use them right away, you don’t have to worry about tossing your food. We ate them for dinner almost every night (with plenty of left overs) so we had dinner premade for a month and a half! Oh, and I made them with a partner and bought the food in bulk so it was much cheaper. It cost us each about $250 for all this food! Hope you like these as much as we did!!

By the way, somethings on the menu have been changed slightly so if there are some things missing that’s because they weren’t that good haha.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca

The Baby Cubby Car Seat Guide

imageimageimage

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CAR SEAT GUIDE HERE

CAR SEAT: Maxi Cosi – The Baby Cubby // AIDEN’S MOCCS: Freshly Picked // MY DRESS: Neesee’s Dresses // PHOTOGRAPHY: Peace Photo

HELLO, Hello!

As you know, from following our adventures on instagram (@rebecca_swiss), Aiden has been growing WAY too fast and has now moved onto his big boy car seat! It was such a sad moment saying good bye to the infant seat but we had a blast looking for this new seat for him. The Baby Cubby is one of my favorite stores to shop from and they have a car seat guide (here) that makes the selection process a breeze. I love how they make you feel at home at their store and help you for as long as you need with answers to questions and they price match!

After going through the guide, I was debating between two car seats; the Nuna Rava and the Maxi Cosi Pria 85. I loved how they both looked… so sleek, classy, and black (I love all black things!). They both have high safety, extreme comfort for your child and easy to clean. We decided on the Maxi Cosi because it was a little more budget friendly.  Aiden LOVES it and is so happy to not be crammed in his tiny infant seat anymore hahaha (poor guy). I’m in love with it too! We have had it for a few weeks now and I highly recommend it!

Well, I hope this helps all you parents with some of your shopping questions and thank you for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca

Fitness Journey

WORKOUT TOP: Cory Vines // LEGGINGS: Cory Vines // BBG (BIKINI BODY GUIDE): Kayla Itsines // PHOTOGRAPHY: Kali Poulsen Photography

Hello Babes!

First off, I have to thank you all for all the love and support I have received from every single one of you!!!! Thank you SO SO MUCH for all the kind words! I have also received TONS of questions about my fitness journey and what I did to get here. Well, first and foremost, you have to know that it wasn’t easy and it won’t be easy for anyone. But it works and its totally worth it!

My workout is called BBG (Bikini Body Guide) and the creator of this amazing life changing hell is Kayla Itsines. She is truly a genius and has come up with a great fat burning workout. I have the app and pay for the 3 month membership… and yes, it’s totally worth it! Do you know how much a personal trainer is.. virtual or in person? Well, it’s MUCH more then $54.99 for 3 months. So basically its only like $20 a month. Totally affordable! You can do the workouts at home or at the gym. I prefer the gym because after getting far into the program you start needing weights and other things to complete the workout. But if you buy your own stuff then you should be good at home. Also, it’s only 28 min long so you can easily fit it into a busy schedule (especially during nap time for you moms out there 😉 ).

My diet, (which wasn’t a diet.. it was a lifestyle change) consisted of, protein, veggies, fruits, healthy fats, and TONS of water. I would only have a few carbs a day.. for example, I would have a sandwich for lunch and the two buns were my carbs. And of course, for my sanity, I had a cheat meal (including dessert) once a week. I did that diet strictly for 3 months (12 weeks). After the 3 months, I continued my healthy choices and lived life normally. After such a strict diet, my stomach couldn’t take tons of greasy and fried foods anymore. And I started craving healthy options like fruits and veggies for snacks instead of chips and sweets. It takes 20 days to build a habit. So, after my 3 months, I had completely changed my life.

About 80% of how you look is what you eat. So, if you’re wanting to loose weight, you HAVE TO EAT HEALTHY. You can workout all you want and still gain weight if you eat like crap. And if you don’t want to lose weight and don’t want to go to the gym then just make healthy choices and you should be good (but every body is different so don’t quote me on this). BUT, if you want to truly change your life and body from over weight or whatever makes you unhappy about it, then there is no other way then to do both. Eat correctly and keep consistently going to the gym. Losing weight doesn’t happen over night. The beginning is the worst!! But once you get into the swing of things you should be good. And no matter how much you want to stop.. DON’T!! Give yourself a year for you to get the change you want. A year seems like a long time but time will pass anyway. In a year from now you could be looking your best.. or you could still be where you are. Either way.. the year will pass. So go make it worth it! Because you are worth it and you’ll love yourself for it!

Thank you all so much for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca

My Best Friends Wedding

DRESS: Asos (similar) // HAIR: Your Hair By Mel (Cotton Salon) // FLOWER CROWN: Diamond Tip Design // AIDEN’S SHIRT: Old Navy // SHORTS: Old Navy

Hello Friends,

This post comes a bit late since it’s been almost 3 weeks since this gorgeous wedding. My bestie Mekenna (also, Aiden’s Godmother) got married to the man of her dreams on this gorgeous lake. The day went perfectly and we met so many amazing people that weekend!! I miss everyone so much already haha! Most of all I loved enojoying the time with Dan. Every wedding makes me remember our special day and honestly it feels like it was yesterday. I love him and our little family so much! Some times we are so preoccupied with our to-do’s and wants and needs in life that we forget to stop and enjoy what we already have. We forget to see what’s right in front of us… and for me, it’s my two main men and my little Lady (not pictured). I literally could not live without them.

Well I hope you all enjoy the pics and thank you for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca

Hello!

We are back in Utah and man am I happy about it! I enjoyed North Dakota and it’s chill environment. The farm land is stunning and I can see why so many people love it. But let’s be real… I’m a city girl born and raised. I LOVE the hustle and bustle of the city and the buildings and all the things to do. When I moved to Utah, I thought that it was all very small. But now coming from serious farm town, I now think differently haha. So it’s good to be home!

Since we’ve been home though, we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off. We have had a wedding, birthday festivities, and a family reunion. In the midst of all of the craziness, Aiden has now learned how to climb stairs (which gives me a nice butt workout haha) and in the past two months he has gone from baby to toddler. I LOVE learning more about his sweet yet feisty personality! The kid seriously cracks me up everyday!

We celebrated my best friends wedding, which I will be posting all about next week, and we celebrated Dan’s birthday in Park City. It was all so much fun and I’m so sad it’s all over. But I have to say that our DockATot really helped keep us sane! If you haven’t gotten one or tried one out I HIGHLY recommend it! During our family reunion, I couldn’t sleep with Aiden in the same room because of all of his noises so we cleaned out the closet and we put him in there on his dock. It SAVED me!! I’m obsessed!

And last but not least, our family reunion was a blast! We stayed at a cabin in Bear Lake with the whole Swiss fam and enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake, celebrated all the summer birthdays, and just enjoyed being together. It’s not often we all unite but it’s always fun when we do. Be sure to stay updated on all our adventure by following my snapchat (username: beccabelo)!

I hope you all have been having a great summer! Thanks for stopping by!

Becca

HIGH CHAIR: Ikea // NUBY SURE GRIP MIRACLE MAT: Amazon // FUN FEEDING SPOONS: Amazon // BIB: Target // TEETHING ICYBITE ANIMAL TOY: Amazon // TEETHING FRUITY CHEWS TOY: Amazon // INDIE ELEPHANT SWADDLE: Little Unicorn // DIAPER BAG: Fawn Design // BANANA BACKPACK: Freshly Picked

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

So every summer we leave Utah for a couple months and follow Dan to a different state for work. Right now we are in North Dakota and we are loving the relaxed lifestyle! When we are home, our schedules are full and so taking this time to just relax and smell the flowers has been amazing. But no matter where we are, we are always out and about so I love easy on-the-go baby products. These are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE products that we take everywhere with us…

IKEA HIGHCHAIR: This high chair is amazing because it’s not only affordable but it’s light weight and when we detach the legs it’s really easy to transport. We drive everywhere we go so it fits in our car and it’s been a life saver to have here in ND!

SURE GRIP MIRACLE MAT AND FUN SPOONS: First of all, if you’ve seen my snaps (beccabelo), you have seen how obsessed I am with this thing!! I love how clean it keeps our meal times. The bowls are attached so Aiden doesn’t knock everything everywhere. And it’s easy to clean and easy to pack and take with you anywhere.

NUBY TEETHING TOYS: Aiden has been teething like crazy lately so these little things have saved me and A LOVES them!

Well, I hope these products help you out as much as they help me! May your travels with your littles go as smooth as ever and thanks for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca
