Happy holidays to you! We are so excited for our most favorite time of year over here at the Swiss household. This year, I decided to start some new traditions by adding some beautiful MacKenzie-Childs pieces to our home and Christmas decor. I wanted something timeless and special to bring out every year that the kids could get excited for. So, here are some of my new favorites!

First off, we have the Santa Nutcracker Stacking Mugs (set 0f 4) and the Santa Nutcracker Cookie Plate. We love making and decorating cookies this time of year, so these pieces were the perfect extra touch we ended. I’m most excited to have these mugs and this plate as something the kids will get excited about seeing pop out year after year. I can’t wait to make memories from some fun family time and have this become a precious childhood memory for them and all of us.

Next we have the Elf Stockings Entrance Mat. Every time I see this mat at our front door it brings a smile to my face haha. I hope to have our friends and family feel the same joy as they enter our home and enter into our little wonderland. And last but not least, we have the Happy Holidays Wreath. This piece is what I was most excited for! It’s simply magical and stunning to look at. I wanted to add a little something special to our holiday decor this year and this wreath was the perfect thing. It’s like a quaint little one house Christmas village cozying up our living room.

Recently, I attended a virtual event with MacKenzie-Childs and fell absolutely in love with the company. What makes MacKenzie-Child’s special isn’t only their beautiful, hand painted, and unique pieces. It’s what the company stands for. They create all these products to help bring our families together by how we use them in our daily lives. By using them to make memories and to have these pieces to pass down through generations.  

And that’s all for now… I plan to add even more MacKenzie-Childs decor to our home because I was so impressed with the quality of everything. I mean, literally everything I got is better then I expected in real life. The pictures only don’t do them justice. Lucky Charms Magical Mission Podcast

 

 


Hi Friends,

 We found a fun new podcast that I have been listening to with the kids lately. It’s called “Lucky Charms Magical Adventure” and we have been joining Lucky Charms on his magical adventures to restore magic back into his 8 charm lands. Each story he takes us to each marshmallow land and we all interact with him to help him bring the magic back. It’s been so fun to see the kids light up and sing with Lucky. It’s the cutest thing ever!

 We have added it into our morning routine and it’s been my new favorite time of the day. It’s brought so much family bonding and magic into our breakfast time. It’s slowed down the crazy morning rush and brought more time for me to talk and play with my kids.

 I have loved it so much that we plan on listening to it all over again! Aiden has loved hearing Lucky’s voice and using his imagination and Aria loves the music and joining in on the clapping, pointing out colors and much more. It’s been great to talk about how we can be kind and help others in our real life and spending time connecting with my kids is priceless to me.

Lean Cuisine

 

 

Hello Friends,

 

I’m so excited to be partnering with Lean Cuisine to share one of my favorite, quick and easy, nutritious go-to meals: Lean Cuisine Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese with a side of broccolini. I love this flavor – not only does it have cheddary, cheesy goodness but the pasta is organic. I always make sure to fill half my plate with veggies to make it a balanced meal. 

 

Here is the broccolini recipe for you all to try:

 

Ingredients- 

  • Broccolini or broccoli (any amount you want)

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Lemon

 

Instructions-

 

Preset your oven to 350 degrees. Wash and prep the broccoli/broccolini then spread them out on a cookie sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the veggies then add salt and pepper to taste. 

 

Place in oven and bake for 15 min.

 

When the broccoli has been in the oven for about 10 minutes, I get started on the Lean Cuisine. [Insert product cooking instructions]

 

Then, after they’re both done baking, remove broccoli/broccolini from the oven and sprinkle some lemon juice over the veggies. Fill half your plate with the broccoli and add your serving of Lean Cuisine.

 

And you’re DONE!

 

This meal is perfect for when I’m on the run or limited on time… because let’s be honest, moms never have enough time to eat haha. Easy meals help me stick with my goals to live a balanced lifestyle and help me realize that eating a nutritious meal doesn’t need to be a big overwhelming ordeal.

Aria’s Nursery Reveal

 

Hi Friends!

Welcome to Aria’s nursery 🙂 It has been so fun having a girl and putting her room all together! She’s just the sweetest thing and loves to look at herself in the mirror after every changing haha.

I decided to go with a simple “boho” decor style for her nursery. Neutral colors with a pop of cactus and blush lol. Dan says it’s “Western” themed ?… it’s fine, he makes fun of everything I do haha. I also decided to not do a wall paper accent wall mainly because I want to be able to change pillows and stuff around when I feel like it. I love cute wall paper but it’s just too permanent for me. But maybe someday I’ll change my mind… who knows.

I’m obsessed with so much stuff in this room. The Lollipop Baby Monitor has been AMAZING and the sound machine is our fav… we have one in every bedroom in the house haha.

Happy Holidays!

I can’t believe Christmas is literally just around the corner! This year I actually decided to be proactive and get our shopping done early. In the past we have usually waited till Christmas Eve to do it all, but I’m pretty happy with how this year is turning out haha. So proud of us! (thank you to Amazon and Cyber Monday) Online shopping saves me.

So, let me tell you a little story. My first diaper bag was a Ju-Ju-Be bag, it was my hospital bag, my favorite travel bag, and through all these years still looks brand new… and now I have 3 of them haha. I love how spacious they are and they don’t even look like diaper bags… they are basically a glorified purse. It’s seriously an amazing gift!

Oral-B Power Toothbrush

Hello Friends!

How are all my babes doing? I know it’s been a hot minute since I have been on here but I just had to share this amazing Oral-B power toothbrush with you all haha. Ok, so first off it was so entertaining that Aiden wanted one of his own… plus he would just stare at me with “what the heck is that?” Look on his face the whole time I was using it lol. I wish I had videod it!

Second, I was super curious to see what the fuss about this toothbrush was all about. It’s one of a five series Oral-B power toothbrushes and they are the only power toothbrushes that have gotten the ADA (American Dental Association) seal of acceptance. So you know they’re legit!

I’m a HUGE advocate for good dental hygiene. I love the feeling of when you come out of the dentist with fresh, sparkling teeth! And what I love the most about this toothbrush is that it not only makes me feel like I’m always as clean as I am when I leave the dentist, but it’s so  thorough that it cleans my wisdom teeth (that I still need to get removed lol)! I’m honestly amazed and completely obsessed!

I officially can never ever go back to a regular toothbrush ever again haha… plus their travel case makes it super conveinient to take anywhere I go.

Go try one out for yourself… your teeth will thank me later 😉

Happy Lovers Day!

I know Valentines Day is still a week away but I wanted to share with you all our V-Day look. I’m a hopeless romantic so I fell instantly in love with this off the shoulder, red, lace Theia dress. I mean, seriously… just look at it!! And the shoes are a look-a-like of the Aminah Abdul Jillil suede bow pumps but at a much more affordable price (I’m all about them deals haha).
