Hola! Bienvenido a Cancun! Welcome to my little snippet of the Paradisus Cancun Resort. To start off this all inclusive resort adventure, I’d like so say that the place is STUNNING! When you walk into the building you are overwhelmed by it’s massive size and extravagant decor. You’re surrounded by nature both inside and out. The resort includes many different restaurants, a club (with shows/ entertainment each night), and if you’re feeling adventurous, they offer fantastic excursions. Now, let’s touch on some of my favorite restaurants; I loved the Market Grill (located outside) because they offered Brazilian food. I also liked Bluegava and their delicious tacos. **TIP: Make sure to make reservations for your dinner the day before (they are pretty busy). If you don’t feel like going out, you can order in! The best part about all-inclusive is free room service! (p.s. get the wings!).
The rooms are very spacious, relaxing, and comfortable. Some even come with bathtubs/ jacuzzi’s on the balcony. (**TIP: if you want one, make sure to request it!)
Now, let’s venture outside to the pools and the beach. The pools are a decadent combination of romance and relaxation. The water is delightful and the staff comes around to make sure you’re properly hydrated. If you are more of a sand and salt kind of person, then Cancun’s beautiful blue and incredibly clear waters are for you! The water is the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip after volleyball or laying out. The staff even brought a cooler full of cold waters and sodas to enjoy at the beach each day. They have towels and lounge chairs available at both the beach and pool area, but if you want a cabana, you’ll have to book it. (**TIP: They get booked pretty quickly so act fast!).
The only downfall in service is check out day. Once it’s past your check out time they charge for food. If you have a later flight, make sure to have eaten or order some room service to go. (**TIP: they’ll even charge for water so make sure you have a couple water bottles). They do offer temporary rooms for rent so you can shower before getting on your flight. Overall, we loved the resort. I recommend it to anyone, especially if you’re planning a honeymoon or babymoon.
Personal Rating: 4.5/5 stars
Hope you enjoy your next trip to Cancun! Have a wonderful Wednesday and safe travels!
xoxo,
Becca
