Hello Babes!

First off, I have to thank you all for all the love and support I have received from every single one of you!!!! Thank you SO SO MUCH for all the kind words! I have also received TONS of questions about my fitness journey and what I did to get here. Well, first and foremost, you have to know that it wasn’t easy and it won’t be easy for anyone. But it works and its totally worth it!

My workout is called BBG (Bikini Body Guide) and the creator of this amazing life changing hell is Kayla Itsines. She is truly a genius and has come up with a great fat burning workout. I have the app and pay for the 3 month membership… and yes, it’s totally worth it! Do you know how much a personal trainer is.. virtual or in person? Well, it’s MUCH more then $54.99 for 3 months. So basically its only like $20 a month. Totally affordable! You can do the workouts at home or at the gym. I prefer the gym because after getting far into the program you start needing weights and other things to complete the workout. But if you buy your own stuff then you should be good at home. Also, it’s only 28 min long so you can easily fit it into a busy schedule (especially during nap time for you moms out there 😉 ).

My diet, (which wasn’t a diet.. it was a lifestyle change) consisted of, protein, veggies, fruits, healthy fats, and TONS of water. I would only have a few carbs a day.. for example, I would have a sandwich for lunch and the two buns were my carbs. And of course, for my sanity, I had a cheat meal (including dessert) once a week. I did that diet strictly for 3 months (12 weeks). After the 3 months, I continued my healthy choices and lived life normally. After such a strict diet, my stomach couldn’t take tons of greasy and fried foods anymore. And I started craving healthy options like fruits and veggies for snacks instead of chips and sweets. It takes 20 days to build a habit. So, after my 3 months, I had completely changed my life.

About 80% of how you look is what you eat. So, if you’re wanting to loose weight, you HAVE TO EAT HEALTHY. You can workout all you want and still gain weight if you eat like crap. And if you don’t want to lose weight and don’t want to go to the gym then just make healthy choices and you should be good (but every body is different so don’t quote me on this). BUT, if you want to truly change your life and body from over weight or whatever makes you unhappy about it, then there is no other way then to do both. Eat correctly and keep consistently going to the gym. Losing weight doesn’t happen over night. The beginning is the worst!! But once you get into the swing of things you should be good. And no matter how much you want to stop.. DON’T!! Give yourself a year for you to get the change you want. A year seems like a long time but time will pass anyway. In a year from now you could be looking your best.. or you could still be where you are. Either way.. the year will pass. So go make it worth it! Because you are worth it and you’ll love yourself for it!

Thank you all so much for stopping by!

xoxo,

Becca
