Hello Everyone!

It’s officially Fall and I’m so excited about it!! I’m in love with all the smells and pumpkin flavored everything. (except it’s not that helpful with losing the baby weight ha ha) I can’t wait for sweater weather! Unfortunately, it’s still been pretty warm here in Utah so this t-shirt dress has been my favorite thing to wear. I’m also so excited to share with you some of my favorite baby products! Here is a little description of each product and why I love it so much.

Baby Jogger City Select: This stroller works as a single and double. It also has an attachment to add a stand for an older child to stand and ride on so it ultimately can hold three kids. (not that I am in a rush to have any more just yet! ha ha) My favorite thing about this stroller is that it can grow with my family and is super easy to set up and take apart.

Covered Goods Car Seat Cover: I’m not a huge fan of all the kid printed baby products so this simple cover was perfect for me. I also love how it has a snug fit over the car seat so it doesn’t move with wind, it keeps baby safe from strangers fingers, and it’s easy to sneak a peek at the little guy without disturbing him. It also doubles as a nursing cover so you don’t have to pack it in your diaper bag!

Kate Spade Baby Bag: This bag compliments any outfit, classy and useful.

Natursutten Pacifier: I love that its made of natural rubber and is all one peice so there are no crevices to trap bacteria. The Soothie binkies are great too!

Cotton On Baby Blanket: If you haven’t checked out this store for baby clothes and accessories you need to. They have the CUTEST things! I’m in love with everything.

I hope all of you are having a great time this summer! I love participating in all of the seasons activities and festivals! I don’t know what typically goes on in other states but, in Utah we have many outdoor concerts, movies, festivals, and carnivals to participate in. It’s been tough being really active in the heat because of the pregnancy but, whenever I’m feeling up to it I take advantage of as many of these activities as possible! Lady, my little partner in crime, absolutely LOVES coming along because shes probably the most social little animal I have ever met haha. And now we get to include baby A! Everything is better with babies:)

We are so excited to introduce our little man, Aiden Fox Swiss! The moment we became parents was the most surreal experience of our lives. It has definitely been an adjustment but we have loved having him in our little family. I loved taking these pictures and I look at them everyday… I just never want him to grow up!

Hello Lovelies!

I’m so excited to share with you part-1 of these amazing maternity pictures shot by the talented Lauren Perry from Perrywinkle Photography! She truly knows how to bring out your beauty even when you feel like crap haha. And honestly, that’s how I feel 24/7 these days. So here is a little bit of my pregnancy truth.

Pregnancy is a the happiest reason ever for feeling like crap. It truly is a beautiful and blessed experience. But, let me start out by saying… it’s NOT like the movies! It’s a miracle alright, and I’m forever thankful for the experience. But, man is it painful, exhausting, and somewhat miserable. As you can tell from my pictures, my feet are quite swollen… and when I say “quite” I mean I have elephantiasis. None of my shoes fit me anymore except for my lovely Birkenstocks. Because of my dancing days, I have injured hips that have slipped out of place during this pregnancy, causing me to be in a wheelchair for 2 weeks. Some people start having the swelling, hip/back pain, and bruised feet problem at the end of their third trimester. Well, I’m going on my third month of feeling it all.

It’s not fun and I couldn’t wait to be done. I sometimes sat on my couch just wanting to cry and eat the whole world haha. But honestly, I will do it all over again just to have the experience of feeling my little guy move inside of me. When he was born, I had no words, I just cried. I’m already so in love with him and love having him in this crazy, beautiful world!! I guess that’s what being a mother is all about and it’s truly a selfless act of love.

So I have a secret love for Victoria’s Secret. I mean, who doesn’t?! It does kind of suck that the models are all perfect and tiny but it’s good motivation right haha? I’m excited to share with you all that I will be sharing with you my journey towards getting in shape again post-baby. I will be sharing with you my workouts, meal plans, and pretty much taking you step by step through this adventure. I’m definitely nervous because it won’t be an easy task but, I’m excited to start! (whenever my doctor allows me to hah). So I’ll be using Victoria’s Secret to keep me motivated!

Finding something to wear while pregnant that doesn’t look like a “maternity” outfit can be a struggle sometimes. Well one of my favorite places to shop for clothes is Asos! They have the best dresses, clothes, swimwear, ect (maternity/non-maternity) and I love how unique everything is.
